Shots Fired In Renton Fred Meyer Parking Lot, No Injuries

RENTON, WA — A large police response descended on a Renton Fred Meyer Wednesday afternoon after reports of gunfire in the store's parking lot.

Officers arrived at the supermarket, on 365 Renton Center Way, around 3 p.m. Police said witnesses reported a man in his teens or 20s shooting at another person in the parking lot before running from the area.

A spokesman for the Renton Police Department said officers searched the surrounding areas but did not find a shooter or a victim. Police said two shell casings were recovered from the scene, and officers continue to interview witnesses.
