Renton Police Release Pictures Of Suspect In Thursday Shooting
The suspect's name is Fernando Joel Valenzuela and Renton police say he is armed and dangerous.
RENTON, WA - One person was shot Thursday afternoon in Renton after two men got into a fight. The shooting occurred along the 1100 block of North Edmonds Avenue just south of McKnight Middle School. Police said that the school was briefly placed on lockdown due to the shooting.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center, but his condition was unknown, Renton police reported. The gunman fled the scene in a vehicle, police said, and was gone by the time police arrived. (Sign up to receive breaking news alerts from Renton Patch)
On Thursday evening, Renton police released a number of photos of the suspected shooter. The suspect's name is Fernando Joel Valenzuela and police say he is armed and dangerous. He was last known to be driving a black 1999 GMC Denali with Washington license plate ATG5385.
