Renton Stabbing Suspect Caught: Police
The stabbing happened in the downtown Renton area Tuesday morning.

RENTON, WA - One person was injured in a stabbing in the downtown Renton area Tuesday morning. But police later caught a suspect after getting a tip from a citizen.
The stabbing happened just before noon near 4th Street and Shattuck Avenue. Police searched the area for a suspect, forcing St. Anthony Elementary to go into lockdown.
Immediately after the stabbing, police were using K9s to search for a white man in his 20s wearing jeans and a Carhart jacket. If you see someone matching that description, call 911. By 3 p.m., police had the suspect in custody.
