Stadium Nearly Finished For Football Opener
Improvements made to the bleachers, restrooms concessions stand, and more.

Renton School officials urge those going to in the next couple weeks for football and soccer games for patience as not all aspects of the nearly $7 million renovation are complete, including public address system and the men’s restroom on the south side of the stadium.
Randy Matheson, Executive Director of Community Relations said the has brought in portable restroom facilities and will use a portable public address system to make do for now.
The stadium is being renovated by a voter-approved bond measure in May 2008. Although the field was replaced in 2009 as the first phase of the voter-approved bond measure, this marks the first full renovation of the stadium in decades, with improvements to the bleachers, grandstands, roof, plumbing, electrical systems, locker rooms, ticket booth, restrooms, and the repair and expansion of the concession stand.

All improvements were expected to be completed by the end of August, according to the a School District press release from earlier this month.
The School Construction Bond measure also included a new 10-classroom wing at , a new Secondary Learning Center at the Black River campus, a new Early Childhood Learning Center, a new roof and window replacements at , and many other needed projects.
