Suspicious Fire Hits Renton U-Haul Facility
Police believe thieves may have been trying to steal gas from the trucks, according to reports.

RENTON, WA - A large fire ripped through a Renton U-Haul business early Saturday morning. Investigators believe thieves started the fires while trying to steal gas from the trucks, according to KIRO 7.
The fire broke out at the Northeast 4th Street U-Haul lot around 3 a.m. Saturday. The thieves reportedly used a drill to bore a hole in a gas tank, and a spark from the power tool ignited the gas, according to KIRO 7.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly, but not before the blaze caused about $100,000 in damage at the facility.
