Renton Transit Center Reopens After Suspicious Package
Police gave the all-clear just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

RENTON, WA - The Renton Transit Center was closed for just about two hours Tuesday after a suspicious package was spotted at the facility. The transit center was reopened just before 1 p.m., according to Renton police.
King County Sheriff's personnel responded to the transit center, located between Burnett and 2nd Avenue. The brief closure caused King County Metro and Sound Transit to re-route more than a dozen buses around the transit center.
Please stay away from the down town Renton transit center for now. Officers on scene investigating a suspicious package. Updates to come.
