Teen Critically Injured In Renton Shooting
The 16-year-old from Auburn was shot Sunday evening at a Renton apartment complex.

RENTON, WA - A 16-year-old from Auburn was shot and seriously wounded Sunday evening at an apartment complex off SR 900. Two other people were with the teen when one person opened fire on their car around 6:30 p.m.
According to police, the teen and two others went to the apartment complex west of the downtown Fred Meyer to meet another person. At the complex, they were approached by two men, and one of them pulled a gun.
The 16-year-old tried to drive away, but the suspect opened fire, hitting the teen once. The teen crashed his car into a parked van along the Southwest 5th Court.

The shooter and the second suspect ran from the scene. The two passengers were not injured.
