The Abolition of Experience

Yoga Sutra 1.51: then there is objectless-ness, with no seed of separateness.

Is this the event horizon of meditation?  Is this the boundary beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer? I cannot even imagine the abolition of experience; much less speak to this sutra. And so, I can only pass on what others report:

Awareness is much vaster than thought. While awareness easily accommodates all mental experience, the mind is too small a container for the contents of awareness. Who is experiencing the awareness?  Awareness requires no experiencer or recipient. The Self stands before awareness, not behind it. (Chip Hartranft, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali)

Enstasy (Gk., en-stasis, ‘standing into’). The abolition of experience, at which we “rise to our full state of expansion through inward facing contemplation”.
