Thieves Target Renton Church Under Renovation

Volunteers working on renovations had their power tools stolen recently, according to a report.

RENTON, WA — Thieves broke into a construction trailer outside an under-renovation Renton church recently and stole valuable power tools, according to a report.

The theft was discovered at Renton Bible Church, 973 Union Ave. Northeast, on Tuesday morning. The Rev. Dan Gannon told KOMO News that the tools were worth between $5,000 and $10,000, and all belonged to volunteers working on the renovation.
