Transient Woman Arrested For Renton Shooting
Jaime L. Kirchmann Tureno is being held on a $300,000 bond in the Jan. 24 shooting that left a man seriously injured.

RENTON, WA - Police arrested a 55-year-old woman wanted for shooting and seriously wounding a man on Jan. 24 Friday evening. Jaime L. Kirchmann Tureno is being held on a $300,000 bond for allegedly shooting her 59-year-old "associate," Renton police said.
The shooting happened in the afternoon at the victim's home along 178th Street in the Benson Hill area. Firefighters found the victim at the scene with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center. Police described the victim's injuries as "serious but non-life threatening."
Tureno fled the scene despite an air and K9 search. Tureno was arrested was being held in the King County Jail on a first-degree assault charge.
