Suspected Arsonist May Be Tied To Fires In Renton, Tukwila
An attempted arson fire in Skyway Tuesday could be linked to a string of suspicious fires.

SKYWAY, WA - Police are searching for a suspected arsonist who allegedly tried to start a fire at 12900 block of Beacon Coal Mine Road Tuesday afternoon. KOMO News reported that the King County Sheriff's Office blocked off roads and scanned the area via helicopter but couldn't locate the suspect. The news comes after a string of suspicious fires in the area.
Firefighters extinguished a truck fire Monday night at the Rabanco Co. recycling facility at 501 Monster Road W. in Renton. The blaze was reportedly visible from I-405.
Shortly after, firefighters responded to a sprinkler alarm call at a nearby address, 1400 Monster Road, to find the building on fire.

The two fires are being considered suspicious. Investigators believe they may be connected to a third fire Monday evening in Tukwila that destroyed a semi truck.
