Video Shows Renton Bank Robbery In Progress, Police Seek Tips
The Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union robbery happened in March, and police are now releasing images of the suspect.
RENTON, WA — Renton police are hoping someone has information about a bank robbery that happened in March involving a well-disguised robber who was also wearing a very noticeable reflective vest.
The robbery happened around 1 p.m. on March 22 at the Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union at 17620 Talbot Road. In a video released Wednesday, you can see the robber walk up to a teller, open a plastic bag, and gesture for her to hand over cash.
"All leads exhausted, do you recognize this suspect and vehicle?" Renton police wrote in a tweet Wednesday.

The robber was wearing a black hoodie, bandanna, and gloves, but police are hoping someone recognizes his body language. Police estimate the robber is about 6'2" and 200 pounds. It's also possible someone saw his flashy reflective vest traveling away from the bank.
He fled the scene in a silver or light-colored SUV, according to police.
