Violent Robbery At Renton Transit Center, Police Seek Suspect
The victim, a woman in her 60s, was injured when the robber dragged her across the ground.
RENTON, WA - Renton police are looking for a man who violently robbed a woman at the Renton Transit Center last week.
According to police, the robbery happened around 1:45 a.m. Oct. 4 when the suspect pushed the victim, who is in her 60s, and then dragged her along the sidewalk while pulling her purse out of her arms. The victim stayed down on the ground until a passerby came to her aid.
The woman was treated at the scene by firefighters but didn't need to go to the hospital. She told police her attacker was a white, about 5'9" with a medium to heavy build. She told police he had "tan chubby cheeks."
