Woman Shot In Renton Theater Suing Gun Owner
The shooting happened in early 2016 during a showing of "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi."

RENTON, WA - A woman shot in 2016 at the Regal movie theater at The Landing is now suing the gun owner, according to a report from the Associated Press. Michelle Mallari was shot in the collar bone in January 2016 when the gun owner dropped his weapon, causing it to fire, according to reports.
Mallari was hit in the collar bone, and the lawsuit claims that she still experiences pain nearly two years after the shooting. The suit also accused the gun owner, Dane Gallion, of negligence, according to the report.
The shooting happened during a screening of "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi." Gallion told police he brought the gun to the theater because he was afraid the movie would might attract a mass-shooter. He pleaded guilty to assault last fall and was jailed through July 2017.
