SEATTLE, WA — Two men in their 20s were wounded in separate shootings in Seattle on Saturday. The shootings happened about 18 hours apart in the Capitol Hill and Central District neighborhoods, according to Seattle police.

The first shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. near East Pine and Melrose Avenue. In that incident, a 24-year-old man was hit in the back of the head by a bullet, although his injury was described as "non-life threatening." Witnesses told police they heard gunshots and then saw a green Ford Crown Victoria and a Chevrolet Tahoe leaving the scene. Bullets hit some cars in the area, but no one else was hurt.

All that was left at the scene was a pool of blood. A 25-year-old man later showed up at Harborview with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, police said.
