2018 ZooTunes Lineup Features Gen X Favorites
Fans of 1970s and 80s post punk and new wave may be interested in Woodland Park Zoo's annual concert series.

SEATTLE, WA - The 2018 Woodland Park Zoo's ZooTunes lineup is heavy on acts that will appeal to Gen X, and even some old millennials, featuring post-punk and new wave artists like Violent Femmes, X, and The Fixx.
Even though some of the bands will hit home with adults of a certain age (who probably have several kids by now), the choices were not intended to entice any particular age group, Woodland Park's concert booker said.
"No, there isn’t an intentional theme. I think that artists are realizing that there is money to be made by touring and an interest in 'nostalgic' bands," said Concert Manager Romy Brock.
