7 Debates Set For Seattle City Council Races

The Seattle CityClub will host seven debates starting in September for each City Council race.

SEATTLE, WA — The debate schedule for the 2019 Seattle City Council elections is here. The nonpartisan Seattle CityClub will host seven debates in September and October for each City Council race.

Each debate will be free, open to the public, and will be available to watch or hear on local TV and radio stations KUOW, KCTS, KING-5, KOMO, and the Seattle Channel. Local news reporters will serve as debate moderators. You can grab your free ticket (seating is limited) at the CityClub website.

The 2019 primary election won't be certified until Aug. 20, but the top two candidates in each race have been determined based on votes and the total number of ballots submitted.
