2019 Women's March In Seattle Will Last All Weekend
The Seattle Womxn's March has organized a three-day weekend full of events for the third annual march.

SEATTLE, WA - The 2019 women's march in Seattle will coincide with the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday weekend, and organizers have planned three days of events and activities on top of the main rally on Saturday.
The first march in 2017 attracted some 150,000 people and pets from across Puget Sound. The 2018 event was smaller, and organizer Liisa Spink expects about 10,000 at the march this year.
But crowd size isn't really the point, she said.

"This is more than just showing up and marching," Spink said. "It's really about committing to doing the work within our own community and fighting this fight for decades."
The Seattle Womxn's March group this year worked with the Seattle MLK Jr. Organizing Coalition to come up with a slate of activities that touch on issues like racism, the gender-pay gap, and violence against women.
