SEATTLE, WA — At least three Washington billionaires have cast their ballots in the 2019 General Election, according to the Seattle Times. Citing state records, the newspaper reports Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Howard Schultz all sent in their King County ballots before the Election Day deadline.

Bezos and Gates are residents of Medina, a small, affluent city with a population just over 3,000. This election, Medina voters will decide whether to lift a levy lid on property taxes, to help correct a budget deficit projected to reach $500,000 by 2020. Amazon, where Bezos is founder and CEO, has spent $1.5 million on Seattle's elections this year.

Schultz, the former Starbucks CEO, is a Seattle resident and former Presidential candidate. He took heat on the campaign trail after it was revealed he had voted in just 11 of the last 38 Washington elections.
