8 New Summer Beers From Puget Sound Brewers
If you're headed out to a brewery this weekend, you'll see new releases from local brewers for summer.

SEATTLE, WA - The weather this Memorial Day weekend - the unofficial start to summer - is going to be pretty mild - temperatures in the low 70s, and some clouds. But that doesn't mean you can't get a head start on the summer beer season.
Breweries across Puget Sound are releasing new beers that, if not this weekend, will pair perfectly with a summer day at the beach or after you come in from cutting the grass.
Holy Mountain Brewing (Seattle) - Holy Light American Lager
"[B]rewed with a slightly undermodified Moravian Pilsner Malt, as well as corn and rice to lighten the body and lend a crisp, refreshing finish. It was lightly hopped with Willamette and fermented with one of our favorite lager strains before cold conditioning.

Gig Harbor Brewing Co. - Solar Tide IPA
A single-hop American style IPA - a style of beer that allows you to get a taste of one style of hop used in the brewing process.
Half Lion Brewing (Sumner) - Peckenpaugh Pale
A seasonal single-hop pale using Citra hops, which, as the name implies, yields a refreshing citrus flavor.

Mack and Jack's Brewery (Redmond) - Sum' Shine Pale Ale
"[O]ur very refreshing Summer Beer release in six packs! Sum' Shine Pale Ale should hit store shelves before the end of May!"
Cloudburst Brewing (Seattle) - Amusement Technology
"[L]oaded with Citra and Denali and fermented with borrowed Georgetown Brewing Co. yeast to create a fruit-punchy, West-Coasty distraction."
Diamond Knot Craft Brewing (Mukilteo) - Binnacle Summer Ale
"This Belgian style golden ale has a spicy and fruity aroma giving way to big honey notes with subtle flavors of banana and clove."
7 Seas Brewing (Tacoma, Gig Harbor) - Never Say Die Nomadic IPA
"A simple malt base of pilsner and 2-row malts, this golden hued IPA delivers drifting hop aromas of fresh mango and tangerine. Softly bitter with a light/medium body, this IPA is lively, clean, and decidedly aromatic. This Nomadic IPA seeks to change path each year, traversing new territories, and never settling."
Beer Star (White Center) - Multiple
Head to White Center for a smorgasbord of summer style beers from a barrel-aged tart saison from Urban Family (Seattle) to a straight-forward German pilsner from Matchless (Olympia).
