8 Weird Super Bowl Events Around Puget Sound

Sick of beer and buffalo wings? Check out these 8 events for a slightly different Super Bowl experience.

SEATTLE, WA - Bored of the same old beer-and-wing Super Bowl Sunday parties? There's much more going on Super Bowl Sunday than you might think. Check out these outside-the-box events happening around Puget Sound.

Suffer Bowl 52
The Strong Center in Olympia is inviting brave folks to watch the game in their virtual reality room. The only catch: you'll be on a stationary bike pedaling like a madman the whole time. Pedaling until you suffer, that is.

Super Bowl Party at The Shop
This isn't so much weird as it is different. The Shop is, well, it's a shop in Sodo where you can work on cars and enjoy cocktails and Ethan Stowell food. If you're sick of the bar scene, maybe you'd like to party surrounded by suped-up sports cars?

$uper Dollar $unday!
Watch the Super Bowl on roller skates. Skate Tiffany's in Puyallup is offering $1 admission all day and will be showing the big game on six humongous screens.

That Football Sunday
Across Puget Sound, the Admiral Theater in Bremerton is showing the Super Bowl on its huge 50-foot movie screen. If you can't buy a new flatscreen for Sunday, buy a ferry ticket and head to this event.

Superbowl Chili Cook Off
Even if the Seahawks didn't make it, you can still be a winner on Super Bowl Sunday. The Red Dog Saloon in Maple Valley is hosting this chili cook-off with prizes for the top three recipes.

Super Bowl Cigar Party
If you're a cigar fan, Brown and Sons Premium Cigars in Olympia is opening its doors to non-members for this Sunday event. The cigar-enjoying public is welcome to hang out in the (indoor) smoking lounge and partake in a potluck.

Super Foodieball
Space is very limited for this Seattle event that features a Hungarian-themed meal and a hot tub party after dinner. Click the link to buy tickets ($20) if they're still available.

Super Bowl 52
Have you ever watched the Super Bowl in a foreign country? Head up to Victoria for this and other Canadian Super Bowl parties. Canada is similar to America, but just different enough, eh?
