80 Degrees? Puget Sound Forecast Indicates Return To Summer
Temperatures will return to August levels toward the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
SEATTLE, WA - It's officially autumn and so Puget Sound residents from Bremerton to North Bend have broken out the rain gear and puffy Patagonia jackets, but that might be premature. According to current forecasts, temperatures might hit 80 degrees or higher later this week.
If it happens, the heat will hit on Thursday. Right now, the South Sound has a better chance of hitting 80 or above while temperatures might only get to 78 or 79 around the King-Snohomish border.
