• Seattle police chief search: Residents say they want someone local (seattletimes.com) — Seattle residents are weighing in on what they want from the city's next police chief, with many calling for a local, community-focused leader who is visible and present. • Boots made for walkin'? Not yet: Little Red Hen eviction case dismissed (king5.com) — A King County judge has dismissed the eviction notice against Green Lake's longtime country bar, the Little Red Hen, keeping the north Seattle venue open for now.
