Ballard Bridge Briefly Closed Due To Malfunction: SDOT
SDOT announced the closure at 10:15 a.m. Friday, but the bridge reopened quickly.
SEATTLE, WA - The Ballard Bridge was closed to traffic at around 10:15 a.m. Friday due to a mechanical error, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation - but the closure only lasted a few minutes.
As of 10:23 a.m., SDOT announced that the bridge was fixed and traffic was being allowed to cross it.
Ballard Bridge is experiencing mechanical issues and is currently closed to traffic. Use alternate routes.
