Blast Of Cold Air, Snow Coming To Western Washington
The Halloween candy is still fresh, but we're already talking about snow and chilly temperatures in Western Washington.

SEATTLE, WA - Hello November, hello winter. Forecasters are predicting a cold air mass will move into Western Washington this weekend. Temperatures will reach highs only in the mid-40s, and snow levels will drop to around 2,000 feet.
A high pressure system gave us sunny, dry conditions over the past few days, but that system will start moving out by Thursday morning, according to forecasts. It might even get cold enough for lowland snow in areas like Port Angeles and Bellingham, University of Washington meteorologist Cliff Mass wrote in a Wednesday blog post.
The National Weather Service, meanwhile, is predicting a "chance" of snow on Saturday in the Seattle area, but mixed with rain.

"A change in the weather pattern will bring cool and wet weather back to the west slopes of the Cascades starting on Wednesday and continuing into this weekend. Snow showers may make travel across the Cascades more difficult through this weekend," the NWS said in a special weather statement issued Wednesday.
Remember, Snoqualmie Pass is at about 2,700 feet and Stevens Pass is at 4,000 feet. Prepare for potential snowy conditions if you're headed east this weekend.
