Buffet Of Weather Coming To Puget Sound This Week

Rain, heat, clouds, cool temperatures - everything but snow and tornadoes is on the platter this week.

SEATTLE, WA - Whatever weather you like, chances are we'll get it this week. Current forecasts show Puget Sound will see a dash of almost everything, from heat to heavy rains.

Tuesday will be the hottest day of the week, with temperatures up around 80 for much of the region. But after that, temperatures take a dive back into the 50s. Here's the upcoming week forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 71. South wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. North northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light north northeast after midnight.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. West northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Tuesday Night: Rain, mainly after 11pm. Low around 54. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50.

Thursday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 59.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Friday: A slight chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 65.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.
