Iona's voice has won awards such as the prestigious 2021 MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards Musician of the Year, and Scots Singer of the Year twice at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards; and even Speaker of the Year for her dedication to continuing the Doric language.
