Car Left Dangling Off I-5 After Crash In Seattle
A car crashed along I-5 in Seattle Saturday night and was dangling over the side of the highway.
SEATTLE, WA - A car was left dangling off the side of I-5 after a crash in Seattle Saturday night. The crash happened in the northbound lanes just after 8 p.m. Saturday. The white SUV hanging over the side of a part of the highway in the downtown area above an on-ramp.
Because of where the car crashed, an on-ramp from Mercer Street had to be closed until the SUV could be removed. The crash also closed multiple lanes of I-5, although by 9 p.m., two lanes had reopened. Just after 9 p.m., a tow truck arrived and pulled the SUV off of the ledge.
Luckily, the people in the car made it out without serious injury, according to the Seattle fire department.
