CenturyLink Field Opens Full Stadium For Sounders MLS Cup Match
Seattle will host the MLS Cup for the first time in franchise history. Tickets go on sale for the general public Friday morning.

SEATTLE, WA — When Seattle hosts Toronto FC for the MLS Cup on November 10th, up 72,000 fans could be cheering them on. 950 KJR reports CenturyLink Field will open all seats for the match, as the Seattle Sounders host the final at home for the first time in franchise history. The team's current attendance record is 67,385, set during a 2013 match against the rival Portland Timbers. The Seattle Times reports 50,000 tickets were already sold to season members ahead of Friday's general sale.

Per @Softykjr, "Well over 50,000" seats have already been sold to 2019 MLS Cup at CenturyLink Field, @SoundersFC vs. Toronto, and the expectation is they could push 70,000 within "minutes" of the public sale beginning at 10am tomorrow. Better be ready in the morning, folks. #EBFG

This season marks the third time in the last four seasons the Seattle Sounders have advanced to the MLS Cup finals. In 2016, the team took home its first league title after beating Toronto at BMO Field. Toronto won the title in 2017.
Tickets for the MLS Cup go on sale to the general public Friday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. The final begins at noon on November 10th and will be broadcast on ABC, 950 AM, and 1360 AM.
