SEATTLE, WA - Christmas 2018 in Puget Sound is going to be typically gloomy, but the latest forecasts indicate it's going to be a little drier than expected.
Christmas Day will be cloudy with just a 20 percent chance of showers. Overnight Christmas Eve into Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, but that's never stopped Santa before.
If you want to see snow on Christmas, head up to Snoqualmie Pass or to Mount Rainier. The Cascades have seen close to 2 feet of snow since Saturday morning.

Tuesday Night: Rain after 4am. Low around 38. South wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
South Sound
Christmas Eve: A 20 percent chance of showers after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming southeast after midnight.
Christmas Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the morning.
Tuesday Night: Rain after 4am. Low around 35. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
