SEATTLE, WA — A trio of outages left at least 13,400 customers without power in the Rainier Valley, Skyway, and parts of Renton Friday afternoon. Seattle City Light said the cause for the outage was under investigation, and an early estimate for restoration was 5 p.m. An outage map on the utility's website showed large sections of power outages concentrated around stretches of Beacon Avenue South, Renton Avenue South and Rainier Avenue South.

The outage near Skyway was resolved by 2:30 p.m., and the outage near Seattle's Othello neighborhood was largely restored before 3 p.m. Almost 1,500 remained without power just west of Renton Municipal Airport.

Power was restored to all customers before 6 p.m.
