Colleges In WA Ranked By How Much Debt Students Graduate With
Find out which colleges and universities in Washington students leave with the least amount of debt.
SEATTLE, WA - Some 44 million college graduates in the U.S. hold some amount of student debt, and total student loan debt is up around $1.48 trillion. In Washington, the average student graduates with about $23,000 in debt.
But the amount of debt Washington college graduates leave school with varies widely between public universities. The loan debt refinancing company LendEDU is out with a ranking showing which schools are the best debt bargain.
Washington ranked No. 6 in the U.S. for the amount of debt students graduate with. Pennsylvania came in last with students graduating with about $36,000 in debt.
