Comedians from around the world compete to make you laugh
The Seattle Comedy Competition is 25 days of "the real last comic standing", in venues all around Puget Sound.
Comedians are literally coming from all over the world to make Seattle laugh! The Seattle Comedy Competition brings together the very best up-and-coming comics from Japan, the UK, Canada, and all across the US (including 14 from Washington!). From hundreds of submissions, the festival has selected 32 of the funniest soon-to-be-famous comedians you will ever see. The competition has helped launch the career of many a successful comedian (Mitch Hedberg anyone?)
Sixteen competitors start their journey on Thursday, November 1. A second cadre of 16 start one week later on Thursday, November 8. Their numbers will be reduced each round as they perform in venus around the area, with the final five competing in the finals on November 25 at the Comedy Underground in Seattle.
All will be vying for over $15,000 in cash prizes, a recording contract with Uproar Comedy, and their big Hollywood break. Catch them now before they're too expensive!
