Cool, Sunny Weather Returns To Western Washington Through Friday

According to the latest forecasts, Puget Sound will get a break from the rain until the weekend.

SEATTLE, WA — After several days of dark clouds and rainfall, blue skies are set to return to Western Washington. According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday through Friday should be sunny in most places, with a chance for rain to return on Saturday.

Wednesday morning will start foggy but should begin clearing by 9 a.m. Highs are forecast in the upper 40s to low 50s, with overnight lows in the low 20s to mid-30s. Forecasters expect temperatures in most cities will be near their seasonal normal.

NWS said a low-pressure system could bring rain showers to the area Saturday evening into Sunday, kicking off a wet pattern that will continue for several days. The current forecast shows snow levels dipping to pass levels late Sunday, with a stronger, colder system approaching Tuesday.
