I-405 Shut Down As Crews Rescue Worker Caught In Lift [Update]
A box truck struck power lines and shut down all lanes of I-405 at Talbot Road.

RENTON, WA - Crews rescued a worker who was stuck in a boom after active power lines fell onto the lift, according to fire officials. The incident began when a box truck struck power lines on Talbot Road South at I-405 Tuesday night. Puget Sound Energy workers came on the scene and requested a medic unit for the worker who had been repairing the damage.
WSDOT reported that the Talbot Road incident resulted in shut down of all I-405 lanes in both directions. However, the worker was rescued around 1:30 a.m. and all lanes of the interstate reopened shortly thereafter.
