Direct Flights To Japan, Hong Kong Start At Sea-Tac

SEATTLE, WA - From Seattle International Airport: The Port of Seattle will welcome the inaugural non-stop flight of three new international services over two days at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport: Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1. New airlines beginning service include Japan Airlines to Tokyo-Narita and Cathay Pacific Airways to Hong Kong, both arriving March 31. Delta Air Lines will introduce nonstop service to Osaka, Japan on April 1.

Sunday, March 31

Japan Airlines (JAL) to Tokyo-Narita

WHEN: 11:05 a.m. aircraft arrival.

Cathay Pacific Airways to Hong Kong

11 p.m. Event program with Cathay Pacific and Port of Seattle VIPs and guests, including Lion Dance, remarks, cake cutting and ceremonial roast pig cutting to symbolize good luck and prosperity. Media must RSVP by 9 p.m. and arrive by 10:15 p.m. for escort to S12.

Monday, 1 a.m. Cathy scheduled flight departure.

Monday, April 1

Delta Air Lines to Osaka

WHEN: No formal aircraft arrival as inaugural will be first departure.

10:30 a.m. ribbon cutting event with local Delta and Port of Seattle executives, including remarks and photo opportunities. Media must RSVP by 9 a.m. and arrive by 9:45 a.m. for escort to S16.

11:57 a.m. Delta scheduled flight departure with turret salute.
