Driver Forced Off I-405 In Two-Car Accident
The accident happened Thursday afternoon along I-405 in Bellevue, according to Washington State Patrol.

Correction: Washington State Patrol initially reported the accident as a hit-and-run, but later amended that information.
BELLEVUE, WA - A driver was forced off of I-405 Thursday afternoon and into an embankment by another driver who was swerving to avoid traffic. The driver of the van was injured and transported to a local hospital, according to Bellevue fire; the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and taken to a hospital. The accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-405 south of Northeast 70th Place in Kirkland, according to Washington State Patrol.
