Evergreen Academy™ Schools in Seattle Students Donate to Hopelink

Students collected nearly 300 nonperishable food items for Hopelink

Students at Evergreen Academy Elementary School in Bothell and Evergreen Academy Preschools in Bothell, Kirkland and Issaquah recently donated nearly 300 nonperishable food items to local nonprofit Hopelink. Over the past month, students at each school hosted food drives as part of the organization’s “End Summer Hunger” campaign. At the close of the drive, students helped prepare the donations for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other children and families in need.

Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in King and Snohomish counties since 1971. The organization works to provide stability and help people gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.
