Fake 'Gang Of Seattle' Ads Appear On Metro Buses
The ads, not approved by King County Metro, refer to Councilwoman Kshama Sawant as "Bagwan."

SEATTLE, WA - Someone is plastering King County Metro buses with fake ads mocking local elected officials, including Councilwoman Kshama Sawant, King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg, and County Executive Dow Constantine. The ads call them the "Gang of Seattle," blaming them for increased crime in the region.
In an exchange on Twitter, Metro denied that the transit agency had authorized the ads. The ads were removed once they were seen, Metro said.
"This ad is fake. We’re investigating how it appears someone placed this image on one of our buses," Metro wrote in response to an outcry on Twitter.
