Fire Breaks Out Near Seattle University
A home on fire near 15th Avenue and Cherry Street was sending a large plume of smoke into the air over the city.

SEATTLE, WA - Seattle firefighters put out a large fire at a home in the Central District Thursday morning. The fire broke out around 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Cherry Street and was out by noon.
No one was injured in the fire, and fire investigators were en route to find a cause.
The fire sent a large plume of black smoke into the sky over the neighborhood, which is in a busy area near Seattle University and a Swedish medical complex.
