Flood Watch Issued For King, Pierce Counties Overnight Tuesday
There's also the chance of freezing rain in mountain passes.

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a flood watch for Pierce and King counties. The watch begins Tuesday night at 6 p.m. and ends abut 24 hours later.
According to the flood watch, some local rivers are on the verge of reaching flood stage. In this area, the White River is at the highest risk of flooding, the weather service said. Rain is expected to get heavy overnight Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a wintry mix will fall on the eastern slopes of the Cascades. Freezing rain could affect travel over the passes, the weather service says.

Warming temperatures could also cause avalanche risk to increase. The Northwest Avalanche Center has issued a high risk warning for all back-country areas throughout the Cascades.
