Free Admission To These National Parks On Black Friday
The U.S. National Park Service is offering a sweet deal to help you to #OptOutside on Black Friday.
SEATTLE, WA - Here's one Black Friday deal that beats any high-definition TV: admission to the Mount Rainier and Olympic national parks will be free all day Friday.
The promotion gels with the #OptOutside campaign, which encourages people to go out and enjoy nature rather than spend Black Friday indoors at the shopping mall. The outerwear retailer REI popularized the movement, opting to stay closed on Black Friday - its employees get a paid day off - in the spirit of promoting exploration of the outdoors.
