Free Entry To National Parks On MLK Day
Visit Mt. Rainier or Olympic National Park for free on Monday.
National parks across the U.S. are free to visit on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, including Mt. Rainier National Park and Olympic National Park. There is no entry fee at North Cascades National Park.
The MLK Day free entry day is one of 10 free entry days planned for 2017. The rest of the days include:
- Presidents' Day: Feb. 20
- National Park Week: April 15-16; April 22-23
- National Public Lands Day: Sept. 30
- Veterans Day weekend: Nov. 11-12
