Glittering Spiritual Stars
Sharing deeper thoughts inspired by the December 15th holiday dress up rally by Pike Place Market.

Why don Santa suits and gather at Pike Place Market, I wondered on December 15th ? Were my neighbors struggling with poverty feeling put out? What a waste of money in the face of our housing crisis. It's too late to skip last Saturday’s showy scene of spending money for just fun. But today why not live deeper truths? Live the message brought by the baby born in Bethlehem. Worship The Lord Thy God with all thy heart. Love thy neighbor as thyself. His message agreed with all the Prophets. If we follow our own selfish desires, we can’t even understand Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Daniel, John, Jesus, Muhammad, and Ahmad (peace be upon them all). But if we take advantage of the latest edition of God's Word as revealed in the 7th century to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) those familiar names become more like glittering stars to guide us through dark times. The Light of all the universe comes to our souls via those closer to The Source. Our city sidewalks need prayers and charity not strung up lights and gaudy clothes. Injustice invites destruction. This Christmas give to the needy and pray for no nuclear war.
