Heatwave Continues Into Early Week: Weekahead Forecast

We aren't done with the 90-degree temperatures just yet.

SEATTLE, WA - If you thought Sunday was hot, wait until Monday.

The hottest temperatures of 2018 have hit since Friday. But Monday is shaping up to be the hottest day of the year so far. In the middle of Puget Sound, Sunday night forecasts put the high on Monday at around 92 for the mid-Puget Sound area.

Here's the forecast according to the National Weather Service:

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 92. North northwest wind 8 to 11 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 84. southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. South southwest wind 8 to 14 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 78.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.
