Help Franklin HS Win National Mock Trial Competition (Again)

SEATTLE, WA — The Franklin High School mock trial team made history in 2018, winning the state and national mock trial titles after 15 years of trying.

Now, they need to defend their 2018 national title, and they need your help to make it happen.

The team is trying to raise $15,000 to get to Athens, Georgia, for the May 16 National Mock Trial Championship. The team won the state championship in March.

"This year the national competition is in Athens, Georgia ... a lovely little city that unfortunately happens to be in the opposite corner of the country from us. Getting our team there is going to be a financial challenge, so we are again turning to your generosity and Quaker spirit to get us there," the GoFundMe fundraiser page reads.

Franklin beat Seattle Preparatory School in the 2019 YMCA Mock Trial State Championship held at the Thurston County Courthouse.
