Here Are The Curfews In Western Washington Thursday Night
These are all the curfews announced so far for cities and towns across the Puget Sound and western Washington tonight.

WASHINGTON — As mass protests continue across the country, several Washington cities have responded by announcing curfews in an attempt to crack down on the demonstrations after several grew chaotic over the weekend.
Most curfews set early in the week have expired and have not been renewed, but some cities have elected to keep their curfews running through the weekend.
Latest Update: Thursday afternoon Bellevue cancelled their curfew for the evening, as well as all future curfews. The city had planned on nightly curfews for the downtown core through Saturday morning.
Curfews in effect for the night of Thursday, June 4:
- Issaquah: 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. (nightly, through Wednesday, June 3)
- Auburn: 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. (nightly, until Saturday, June 6)
Seattle had been scheduled to have a curfew set through the weekend, but Wednesday night Mayor Jenny Durkan rescinded the curfew after meeting with community leaders. Similarly, Mercer Island rescinded a curfew Thursday morning that had been planned for Thursday night into Friday morning.
Curfews that have expired:
- Renton: expired 5 a.m. Tuesday
- Redmond: rescinded at 10 p.m. Tuesday
- Tukwila: expired 6 a.m. Wednesday
- Bellevue: expired 5 a.m. Wednesday
- Tacoma: expired 5 a.m. Wednesday
- Seattle: lifted 7 p.m. Wednesday
- Mercer Island: rescinded Thursday
- Bellevue: rescinded 3 p.m. Thursday
Note that some curfews may be announced as the evening progresses. In many cases, like Renton on Monday or in Seattle Saturday, curfews were announced just moments before they went into effect. In other cases curfews may be lifted, like Redmond did at 10 p.m. Tuesday. Patch will continue to update these lists if additional curfews are issued throughout the evening.
