High Winds To Hit Puget Sound Friday: Forecast
A wind advisory starts Friday during the evening commute, according to the National Weather Service.

SEATTLE, WA - High winds will sweep into Puget Sound Friday evening and continue overnight, according to the National Weather Service. Sustained winds of 15 to 20 MPH will give way to gusts up to 45 MPH between Seattle and Olympia, according to the forecast.
The high winds will be capable of toppling trees, causing power outages, and making driving difficult for larger vehicles. Expect higher winds north of Everett with gusts up to 55 MPH in the Mt. Vernon area.
The wind advisory ends Saturday morning at 4 a.m.

Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties are also under a flood watch until midday Saturday. In particular, the National Weather Service is warning the White River is in danger of flooding in Auburn.
Meanwhile, rain will continue to fall, heavily at times, around the region through Saturday.
