Husky Softball Has Perfect Record And Is Ready For Home Opener
With their 18-0 record and ranked number one in the country, the Huskies are ready for their home opener with this weekend's Husky Classic.

SEATTLE, WA – The Husky softball team has picked up where they left off last season with their third place finish in the College World Series. The team is 18-0, have the second-highest scoring offense in the country and a pitching staff with the third-lowest ERA.
And they are ranked number one in the nation in both the ESPN and USA Today polls.
This weekend, they return for their home opener this weekend, taking part in the Husky Classic.

With one victory already against a top-ranked team – they defeated #6 Texas A&M – they are ready to start their home season against #11 Alabama, who they played and beat twice last season. Both of those victories came in Tuscaloosa.
They will also play BYU, Northwestern, and Portland State.
