Saturated soil has led to increased landslide risks in Western Washington, and a slide along State Route 18 blocked eastbound traffic near the Tiger Mountain summit for several hours Monday. Another slide closed State Route 109 in the Hoquiam area.
#Snoqualmie update: Crews have reopened the left lane of EB SR 18 near the Tiger Mt. summit following an earlier slide. The right lane will remain closed until further notice as a precaution. We will continue to monitor the hillside. https://t.co/xLi2B6w5FR
